June Squibb is Thelma. You don’t often see 70’s style revenge movies starring people over 90, but this one did it well! She is a treasure. Joining her is Shaft himself! Richard Roundtree, who recently passed away, was great here. Its always nice to see actors get one last good role.

I cannot recommend this movie enough. It is shot and scored like a old school 70’s action movie, but instead of huge stunts and shootouts we have an old lady trying to climb a flight of stairs. Instead of a high speed car chase we have a low speed scooter chase. It is terrific fun. Check it out!
