This is a fantastic movie (pun very much intended).

I’ve long thought that a 1960’s set FF movie would be the right way to go. I figured since we had the Michael Douglas version of S.H.I.E.L.D. working around that era that this was the way to do it. I am actually quite happy with the alternate universe take on it. The cast was great, particularly Vanessa Kirby as Sue. Pedro is always good, and is certainly up to the task of playing this version of Reed.

I thought more could have been done with Ebon Moss-Bachrach’s Ben Grimm, but I did like Joseph Quinn’s Johnny. Julia Garner was a good Silver Surfer, but MAN OH MAN was it nice to see an actual Galactus on screen, none of that shit cloud in space nonsense.

The best of the recent Marvel films, by a long shot.
