Welcome to the 8th section of my Movie list: 2020-2024! We have previously covered films from 1987-2024 in parts I , II, III, IV, V, VI & VII

2025! A quarter of this new century has passed and I am at a crossroads. My local theater has closed. As I write this, I am unsure what this will mean for my movie habits. There are other theaters nearby, but I’ve allowed my subscription to lapse. I was previously seeing 3 movies a month using Showcase Subscribe. I’ve been looking into keeping it, and changing locale or possibly switching to AMC (30 minutes away) to take advantage of the fancier seating and increased quantity (3 movies a WEEK!). As of now, I am undecided. This may lead to increased movies if I go AMC, or vastly reduced if I go a la carte. Time will tell how things shake out!

As always, look for the (Review) links to see my original reviews. I will provide “skinnys” of all the films I saw in cinemas in each individual year.

601: The Fantastic Four: First Steps – Marvel revives the FF for a new movie that FINALLY gives us Galactus the right way, a giant dude in a helmet. (Review)
