I just downloaded his Last album this weekend. His LAST album. Writing that sentence is soul shattering.
“Blackstar” mentions death quite frequently. It is now clear he knew the end was upon him. It is both heartbreaking and inspiring. This has been called his last gift to us, and it is a gift. His whole life was a gift to us mere mortals.
