Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

By J.K. Rowling, John Tiffany, and Jack Thorne

BRITAIN-ENTERTAINMENT-LITERATURE-HARRY POTTER

J.K. Rowling gives us the eight part in the Harry Potter story. Set 19 years after Deathly Hallows, this script: for the smash London play, follows Albus Potter and Scorpio Malfoy as they navigate their teen years at Hogwarts. While not a proper novel, the Harry Potter magic is definitely present. The world is just as powerful as it was in the original series. Dropping in on Harry, Hermione, Ron, Ginny, and Draco 20 years later is also fascinating. A time travel adventure, this play allows us to revisit some events from the past books. I recommend it to anyone that loves this universe. They say it may become a movie 10 years from now. I certainly hope so, although some recasting will be necessary, as Alan Rickman is no longer with us. Read this! Now!
