Hello Everyone!
I semi-apologize for abandoning all 3 readers these past several months. After my last post, I took some time to continue healing from my death defying surgery. After seeing John Wick back in May, I caught Godzilla and then had another surgery the following morning. Consider this my “catch-up” post for the summer. This will be extra “skinny”.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters
What can really be said here? It is a Godzilla movie. Luckily it was a damn good one, true to the source material, but updated for modern audiences. The original Japanese theme music was present. Mothra, Rodan, and Ghidorah were all epic.
Dark Phoenix
Sigh. This was the mercy killing the Singerverse X-Men films needed. X-Men 3 was cold dog shit. This time around they hired the wrier of that film to DIRECT this one. This time we got fresh hot dog shit. These characters are now owned by Disney. #thankyoudisney
Spider-Man: Far from home
This was an excellent film. Sony and Marvel should be really proud of what they accomplished here. The cast was excellent, the effects great. It was the perfect denouement to Endgame, and sets up their future collabora…..
